The last Holiday Tradition I have tried to have is a Grandchildren sleepover. We were unable to have one this year over Christmas break because of the mess from our flood. So this year it was held in January. We had our 13 and 11 year old grandchildren who for a lot of years were the only ones that came andwho are wonderful helpers with the younger ones. Then we had a 5 year old, 4 year old, 3 year old , 2 year old, and a 1 year old who had her mom come since she was a little young. The two babies will have to wait a few years before they come.
We had pizza, made fruit loop and bead bracelets, had rootbeer floats with cookies and then watched movies while most everyone slept in sleeping bags in the living room. Our youngest son showed up with his fiance as a surprise to watch the movie with us. It was exhausting, but lots of fun. I am already looking forward to next year.
